This sketch in grisaille was made for the canvas of the same subject of the church of the Magdalena de Getafe, documented between September and December 1645 and with respect to which it shows, basically, two differences: the absence of four figures and the lower height of the altar table, appearing also in Getafe, the cloth that covers it embroidered. / Extracted from: A.A.V.V.: Gómez-Moreno Institute (catalog).
