TRAY

Esmalte cloisonné o tabicado

The tray moves away from these ritual uses, and presents two well differentiated zones both in its shape and decoration. In the center there is a rectangular cavity with rounded corners, decorated with an outdoor landscape scene. In the foreground there are two figures crossing a bridge over a lake, while in the background there is a group of small hills behind which a pagoda stands out. The outside of the tray is decorated with cranes and phoenixes in flight, among clouds of different colors. The rim is curved around its perimeter, topped by a golden edge from which emerge some scrolls, which add rhythm and movement to the decoration.
